The strips originally appeared in the French magazine Metal Hurlant (in America: Heavy Metal) between ‘76–‘80, and have since been compiled in books. To celebrate the anniversary, and hopefully ensure that we learn from our mistakes, we give you 10 Reasons Why Comics Sucked During The '90s. While the stories are not as fleshed out as the Adventure Paths they are solid. Little Tiger Press has been publishing children’s books for over 25 years. His singular legal problems are the result of comics he created and self-published from home, mainly one called “Boiled Angel.” Florida state authorities stumbled across his work quite by accident, during a murder investigation. If you’re writing for monthly, serialized comics (which I call “floppies” because they’re, well, floppy), be aware that the page count of each issue is almost always inflexible.
